Terms of
Warranty

This Warranty Applies to:

  • Residential customers.
  • Non-residential customers: including but not limited to business offices, factories, public facilities, etc.
  • The warranty starts from the date of purchase and shall cover a period of 2 years. The warranty covers the unit only.
  • The warranty is null and void if product installation or removal is not performed by authorized service providers designated by SUNET. SUNET shall not be liable for any damages incurred as a result of any of these actions.
  • The warranty is valid for the original purchaser of the product, and a warranty card with authorized service provider stamp is required. Any warranty card without authorized service provider stamp is considered void, and SUNET shall not be liable for any defects or losses caused.
  • When requesting for warranty service, warranty card and proof of purchase (e.g. an invoice, sales order or receipt for the purchase) shall be provided for verification. For any requests without sufficient documentation for verification, the manufacture date shall be adopted to determine the warranty period.
  • For any damages or malfunction as a result of faulty or improper installation, the purchaser shall contact the original service provider for assistance.
  • In the event that sufficient space and safety is considered not in compliance with the installation manual, which results in on-site installation failures, customers shall pay for all necessary charges, including but not limited to removal fees or other incurred expenses.
  • When your warranty expires, a diagnostic charge may incur if a service request is placed.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Damages or malfunction due to natural disaster, lightning, abnormal voltage and environmental factors.
  • Damages or malfunction due to not following official instructions or any improper use, including but not limited to damages caused by external forces, product modifications or alterations made without SUNET's written consent, misplacement that causes damages from water, corrosion, dropping, extrusion, or exposure to abnormal temperature and humidity.
  • Damages or malfunction due to pest or animal invasion, including but not limited to roaches, spiders, ants, snakes and mice.
  • Damages or malfunction due to 1) perforation corrosion caused by oxidation or patina of components or 2) rust of casing or other metal components, from exposure to unusual environmental factors, including but not limited to chemical gas, biogas, sulfur, sulfur area or salt damage area.
  • Consumable parts, such as air filter.
  • Accessories, such as remote control, paper box, user's manual, etc.。

Replacement Parts Service:

  • For products that have been shipped from manufacturer for over five(5) years, if a replacement part in need is in shortage in domestic market and the purchase from abroad is required, customers shall pay for all necessary fees and expenses.
  • If a replacement part is no longer available, alternative solutions accepted by SUNET may apply.
